Hardeners
Adding hardeners in the correct mixing ratio can significantly increase the bond strength. In some cases, the bond has to have a high resistance to temperature, humidity, moisture, and even chemicals over a long period of time. Hardeners are usually needed for bonding materials in outdoor areas and for bathroom and kitchen furniture. They can be used along with PVAc or polyurethane-based dispersions and solvent-based adhesives. A key benefit of hardeners is that the user can mix in the desired amount depending on the required adhesive properties (resistance levels, etc.).
